TA-GA-SOKE Campgrounds is one of many New York State campgrounds.  It is nestled on the banks of Fish Creek, two miles from the village of Sylvan Beach, New York and Oneida Lake.   Sylvan Beach, NEW YORK is located on the eastern end of Oneida Lake, between Syracuse and Utica, New York .  Fish Creek flow's out to the Erie Canal and on to Oneida Lake.  Making Oneida Lake accessible by boat from the campground. 

The campground has 211 sites some pull-thru  and tent sites on 33 acres.  All the sites have fire rings and picnic tables.  Sixteen of the sites are occupied with our camping cabins.  The campgrounds store is stocked with groceries, fishing licenses and supplies, LP gas, RV supplies, and a variety of other items. Bird's Nest Cafe, located at the campground, is open on Friday and Saturday evening offering fish dinners, pizza, and other snack foods.  On Sunday morning you can enjoy our Breakfast Buffet while you relax with your newspaper .

For everyone's enjoyment we have planned activities, a playground, volleyball and basketball courts and horseshoe pits.  Our Rec room contains an assortment of video games, jukebox, and pool table.  The miniature golf course is fun for the whole family to enjoy.

Sylvan Beach and the surrounding Oneida Lake area offer varied attractions for your pleasures.  The campground is located two miles from Sylvan Beach Amusement Park.  For those interested in sight seeing Erie Canal Village, Fort Standwix, Turning Stone Casino are a few of the many things to see while in the area.  Many fine restaurants are also just a short drive form the campground for you dinning pleasure. 

TA-GA-SOKE is constructing sewers, and is offering sites in its retirement area.  The retirement area offers a locked in price for life, sewer, water, cable, and tool shed are included. No visitors fees for that area.  Phone service is available from Verizon and electric is metered.  Access will be gated from Haskins road.
